Antonette "Honey" (Dimente) Carbone

of Warwick, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Brentwood Nursing Home. She was 98 years old.

Honey was the beloved wife of the late Albert R. Carbone, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and devotion. Born in Providence, she was the cherished daughter of the late Alfred and Theresa (Neapolitan) Dimente. She was the last surviving of ten children and was predeceased by her siblings: Marion Manni, Anna Signore, Stella McLaughlin, Rose Cesino, Anthony Dimente, Claire Shippee, Pauline Ursillo, Alfred "Sonny" Dimente, and Theresa Cochran.

Family was always the center of Honey's life. She devoted herself to raising her children and creating a home filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Once her children were grown, she proudly served the City of Warwick as a crossing guard, a job she truly enjoyed because it allowed her to care for others in her community.

Honey embraced life with enthusiasm. She and her husband spent many happy years golfing together, and after his passing, she continued playing in a ladies' golf league, enjoying both the game and the friendships it brought. She also loved bowling, playing Hi-Lo Jack at the senior center, and taking trips to the casino.

Whether it was enjoying a game, sharing a laugh, or spending time with friends, Honey found joy in life's simple pleasures.

Nothing brought Honey greater happiness than her family. She was happiest in her kitchen, preparing meals and hosting the Sunday dinners that became a treasured family tradition. Her home was always open, her table was always full, and everyone who gathered there felt loved. She had a remarkable way of making people feel welcome, and no one ever left her home hungry. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the greatest blessings of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Honey's kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit touched everyone she met. She had a beautiful smile, a warm heart, and an unwavering love for her family. Her legacy is one of unconditional love, strength, and the importance of keeping family close. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

She leaves behind her loving daughter, Linda Ault and her husband, Richard, of Warwick, and Diane Soma of Warwick; her daughter-in-law, Kerri Carbone of Smithfield; her cherished grandchildren, Tonja Tweedell and her husband, Jody; Sheri Foster and her husband, Bruce; Michael Clark and his husband, Jeff; Dennis Clark and his companion, Kim; Emily Clark and her wife, Christi; Desi Clark and his wife, Jennifer; and Amanda Mcintyre and her husband, Ryan; along with ten adored great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Albert R. Carbone, Honey was predeceased by her beloved son, Albert J. Carbone.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the nurses, aides, and staff at Brentwood Nursing Home for the loving care, compassion, and kindness they showed Honey each and every day. Their support and dedication brought comfort not only to Honey but to her entire family.

Honey's greatest gift was the love she gave so freely. Though she will be profoundly missed, her family will forever cherish the memories, traditions, and unwavering love she leaves behind.

Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 11th at 8:45 a.m. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Sts. Rose and Clement Church, 111 Long St., Warwick. Burial will take place in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS will be Monday, August 10th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
