Antonia (Alikakos) Giannakakos

Antonia Giannakakos (Alikakos), soon to be 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2017, surrounded by loved ones.  Born in Vasiliki of Lakonia, Greece, she immigrated to the US with her husband and children in 1969 and has lived in Warwick, Danbury, CT, and Narragansett.  She was the beloved wife of late George Giannakakos and the loving daughter of the late George and Vasiliki (Lagousakos) Alikakos.

She is survived by her loving sons and their wives, Nicholas and Pamela Gannek of Narragansett, Louis and Lisa Giannakakos of Athol, MA, William and Mary Giannakakos of Danbury, CT; cherished grandchildren Antonia Anthony, Christine Oliveira, George Giannakakos, Antonia Giannakakos, Antony Giannakakos, Anastasia Giannakakos, Nicholas Gannek, Jr. and great grandchildren Connor and Chloe Oliveira, and George Giannakakos.  She was the sister of the late Likourgos Alikakos and Garifalia Anagnostako.
