North Providence

Antonia Lucci

87 of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 18, 2024, with her family by her side. Born in Sicily, Italy she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Marianna ( Criciata) Galofaro. She was the beloved wife of the late Vittorio Lucci.

A woman of impeccable taste, a great sense of fashion that took great pride in her appearance. There was not a boutique that was to far of a drive to ensure that she had a one-of-a-kind outfit.  She had a passion for the preparation of the traditional Italian holiday specialties, it was deep rooted in her up bringing in Italy.  A very faithful woman, she would watch Mass when she couldn’t attend and prayed her rosary daily. The neighborhood that she lived was one that always helped each other, something from a different time. She took pride in the pristine flower beds in the front of her home, and her vegetable gardens. However, what was most important to Antonia was her children and her grandchildren. Traditional Sunday dinner with them, the Saturday chauffeur that would take her on her errands, daily phone calls with her sisters and FaceTime with family in Italy were where her heart truly flourished.

She is survived by her beloved daughters Emilia and Robert Morsilli, Marianna and her former husband Stephen Feola, Salvina and Albert Guarnieri.  She was the cherished grandmother of Nicholas and Anthony Feola, Robert, Ryan, Gabriella, Dante, and Justin Morsilli, and Anjali Coleman. She was the loving sister of Gaspar Galofaro, Francesco Galofaro, Maria Galofaro, and Josphine Cutolo. She was predeceased by her son Salvatore Lucci, and a sister Eluminata Sarcona.

Her funeral will leave at 10:15 am on Tuesday January 23, 2024, from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Followed by her Mass of Christian Burial, at 11:00 am at St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. Burial will be immediately following in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be on Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Gift Processing at National Kidney Foundation HQ, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
