Antonietta (Cenami) Cenami

73, of Prata Sannita, Italy passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital.  She was the beloved sister of Maria Ruggiero and Franco Cenami, both of Cranston.  Born in Prata Sannita, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Carmela (Santomarco) Cenami.  Antonietta was a retired travel agent and owner of Matese Travel, in Vairano Scalo, Italy.  She was a devout Catholic and often organized trips to visit the sanctuaries of Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Medjugorje and Padre Pio.  In the early 70’s she was employed by Hospital Trust Bank in Providence, RI for 9 years before returning to Italy.  Antonietta was an exceptional cook and loved sharing her talent with family and friends.  Antonietta leaves 5 nieces and nephews as well as 8 great-nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston at 11 a.m.  Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS: Saturday MORNING 9-10 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, 249 Roosevelt Ave., Suite 201, Pawtucket RI 02860.
