Antonio Pezza

Antonio Pezza, 84, of Cranston passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday June 25, 2024. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Gioacchino and Ann (Lombardi) Pezza. He was the beloved husband of Beverly (Gallo) Pezza with whom he would have shared their 60th wedding anniversary in August. He was the co-owner of Park Ave Cement Block Company for many years. He was a member of many masonry associations including New England Concrete and The National Masonry Association. He was an avid gardener known for his flowers and fig trees. He loved his tropical saltwater fish. He could often be found relaxing in his favorite comfy chair in his backyard and of course Sundays were for rides with family. He was a humble and generous man that always put the needs of others before his own. Besides his wife he is survived by his children David Pezza, Paul Pezza and his wife Kollina, and Patricia Pezza and her husband Anthony D’Agostino. He was the grandfather of Felicia Pezza, Jaquelyn Van Patten, Izabella Pezza, and Paul Pezza. He was the brother of Dr. Joseph Pezza and his wife Kathy, Jack Pezza and his wife Darlene, Raymond Pezza and his wife Mary, Maryann Matano and her husband Norm Grant, and a brother-in-law Joseph Gallo, PhD. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave, Cranston, at 9:15 am on Monday July 1, 2024, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be held Sunday from 3:00-7:00pm.
