Arthur A. D'Orsi

80, of Johnston, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, August 11, 2014 at home. He was the longtime companion of Carol Boudreau. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Eckle and Elena (Natalizia) D'Orsi. Arthur was a US Navy veteran during the Korean War era. He was a toolmaker for the former Esposito Jewelry Company for many years before his retirement. Besides his companion, he is survived by his loving children, Sharon Gamba and her husband Dennis of Saunderstown, Donna D'Orsi-Smith of Warwick, Richard D'Orsi of Florida, and the late Arthur D'Orsi. He was the cherished grandfather of Dennis D. Gamba and his wife Christina, Dayna Gamba, Ryan Arthur Smith, and Brianna D'Orsi, and the great-grandfather of Dennis D. Gamba, Jr. and Aaliyah Love Gamba. Arthur was the brother of Anna Crossley of Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial with Military Honors will be in Rhode Island Veteran's Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS Friday evening 6-7 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.
