Arthur J. Morissette

75, of Warwick, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of fifty-two years to Adeline E. (Angelone) Morissette. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Leo J. and Catherine (Rodziwick) Morissette. Arthur was a body shop manager for the former Shore City Lincoln Mercury until he became disabled. He was a veteran serving in the US Air Force. Arthur was a talented artist, avid golfer, and loved to travel with his family. He was a past member of the "Flat Head Club" and enjoyed NASCAR racing.

Besides his wife he is survived by his loving sons, Arthur D. Morissette and his wife Nanci of North Kingstown, and Gregory J. Morissette of Chepachet and his former wife Suzanne. Arthur was the cherished grandfather of Brandon, Christopher and Stephanie Morissette. He was the brother of Malvina Coccia of Norton, MA and the late Leo A. Morissette and Raymond L. Morissette.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Sunday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Shrine, 512 West Saratoga Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
