Assunta (Turcone) DeMatteis

101, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Greenwood Center in Warwick.  She was the beloved wife of the late Michael DeMatteis.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Fortuna (Mangiacapra) Turcone.

She was the loving mother of Vincent DeMatteis and his wife Sharon of Cranston; cherished grandmother of Elizabeth Moniz Claire, Nathan Moniz, and the late Michael Philip DeMatteis; dear great grandmother of Thomas Michael, Jackson David, and Olivia Ruth.  She was predeceased by 4 siblings.

Her funeral arrangements will be private.
