92, of Cranston, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center RI surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary (Micheletti) Diodati. Born in Barrington, he was a son of the late Astillodore and Carmella (Bochino) Diodati. Jerry was the owner of the former A & D Construction Co. in Providence for many years before retiring. He was a World War II Army Veteran, as well as a recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
Jerry is survived by his loving children, Gerald E. Diodati and his wife Martha, Merrill C. Drew and her husband Christopher, Karen J. Calestino and her husband Peter, Kenneth A. Diodati and his wife Joan, Ronald D. Diodati and his wife Dawn, Vincent J. Diodati and the late Michael K. Diodati; eight cherished grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 am. Burial will take place in St. Alexander's Cemetery, Warren. VISITING HOURS will be held on Friday from 4 - 8 pm.
