AZATOUHI A. SHALDJIAN
81, of Wentworth Ave., Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at RI Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Sarkis Hagopian. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, the daughter of the late Armenak and Haykanoush (Damirgian) Shaldjian, she moved to Yerevan, Armenia in 1946 before coming to the U.S. in 1982.
Mrs. Shaldjian was the devoted mother of Hagop Hagopian and his wife Silva, Armen Hagopian and his wife Gaiane and Haroutun Hagopian, all of Cranston; loving grandmother of Virginia Parmigiano and her husband Nick, Sarkis Hagopian and his wife Alenoush, Sarkis Hagopian, Narine Hagopian, Ani Dedeyan and her husband Hovic, Sarkis Hagopian and Arthur Hagopian; loving great-grandmother of six; loving aunt of Aris Shaldjian, Armen Shaldjian, Eva Shaldjian and Haykush Shaldjian all of Yerevan and Tagui Sinanian of CA; and dear sister of the late Onnik and Stepan Shaldjian.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday, November 18th at 10 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence at 11 a.m. Burial will be at North Burial Ground, Providence. VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
