B. Michael Stansfield

72, of East Greenwich, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 23, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Donna L. (Gravello) Stansfield for 42 years. Born in Cumberland, he was a son of the late George W. and Leola B. (Alger) Stansfield.

Michael was the owner and operator of BotiqueCreations, which he started in 1983. In 2007, he acquired Thoughtful Little Angels, USA, LLC, which continues to be owned and operated by his son, Devin.

Michael had a love for the water and spent many of his happiest days boating and enjoying the view from his home. Whether out on the water or sitting peacefully overlooking it, those moments brought him joy that he shared with those closest to him.

Besides his wife Donna, he is survived by his loving sons, Kyle Stansfield and his wife Kelly, and Devin Stansfield and his wife Emily; and his cherished granddaughter, Grace who lovingly called him “Cappy”. He was the dear brother of Shirley Risk, Carolyn Hayden and the late Jean Simoneau and George Stansfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his grand-dogs Beau and Otis.

Visitation will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
