Barbara (Duclos) Blanchard

77, of West Warwick passed away on Sunday October 18, 2026, at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Robert Blanchard. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Rita (Gilbert) Duclos. Barbara was very active in St Rocco’s Church, St Rocco’s Women’s Guild, St Rocco’s Feast. She Was a volunteer in cooking at the Emanuel House and traveling with her sister Diane.

She was the devoted mother to Michael R. Blanchard and his wife Sarah and Julie F. Maccarone; she loved spending time with her grandchildren Samuel R. Blanchard, Emma E. Maccarone, Ethan J. Maccarone and Emery L. Blanchard.

She was the dear sister of Diane Whitehead and the late Paul Duclos and Kathleen Duclos.

Her funeral will be held on Friday October 23, 2026, at 10:00 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco Church, 931 Atwood Ave. Johnston at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, 425 Pascoag Main St. in Pascoag, RI.

Visiting hours are Thursday October 22, 2026, from 4;00 pm-7:00 pm
