81, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Briarcliffe Manor in Johnston. She was the beloved wife of James “Ronnie” Burns for 57 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Carmella (Calabro) Anatone.
Barbara worked at Twin River Casino for over 18 years. She also worked as a real estate agent for DeFelice Realtors for 10 years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving daughter Barbara M. DeMaio and her husband Anthony J. of Warwick, her cherished granddaughter Crystal M. Burns and her fiancé Jonathan Annear of Cranston, and dear brother Paul Anatone of Cranston. She was the sister of the late Angelina “Toni” Zaccagnini, John Anatone, and Marie Lonardo.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 4 - 7 p.m.
