Barbara C. (Maynard) Cambra

100, of Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Morgan Health Center, Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel Cambra. Born in Providence, she was predeceased by her parents the late Leonard and Catherine (Cardillo) Maynard, as well as her two brothers the late Joseph E. Maynard, D.C., and Leonard H. Maynard, D.C. She was a jewelry worker for many years before retiring. When Barbara was younger, she had a true passion for square dancing. Later in life she enjoyed writing and drawing.

Barbara is survived by her three loving children, Ann Conti and her husband Ernest of Providence, Cathy Elston and her husband Charles “Chuck” of Byrdstown, TN, and Caroline Marr of Cumberland. She also leaves behind her sister Shirley Maynard Livingston of Foster, her 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews.
