Barbara Caminito (née Amore) was born on October 15, 1946, in Providence, Rhode Island, to the late Anna (Manfredi) Amore and the late Olindo Amore. She passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026, in Englewood, Florida, where she made her home.
Barbara built a remarkable career, serving as Vice President of United Printing Inc. since 1975 - a testament to her dedication and strength.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Frank Caminito; her children, Lynanne Murphy, Richard Taylor of Cranston, Michael Caminito and his wife Francine, and Kevin Caminito, both of the Bronx, New York. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kyle LaCroix, Cara Murphy of Coventry, Brandon Taylor, Michael Taylor of Cranston, and Kristen Caminito, Michael Caminito, Katie Caminito, Kevin Caminito, and Samantha Caminito, all of the Bronx, New York; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Joseph LaCroix and Maddisyn DeLuca of Coventry. She is further survived by her dear brother, Raymond J. Amore and his wife Dara, Sister-In-Law Maryellen Finlayson and her husband George as well as several nieces and nephews.
Barbara had a deep love for life and family. She cherished every trip back to Rhode Island to visit with family and friends. She especially loved the Cousin's dinners and the bonds she shared with her cousins. She loved renting a beach house and spending time by the water, and was an avid golfer and passionate gardener. The holidays were especially dear to her, and she made every effort to come home to celebrate with those she loved.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, June 12th, at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4:00-7:00 p.m. Burial is kindly omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the HopeHealth Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904, or visit https://www.hopehealthco.org/.
