74, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2022 after a long heroic fight with cancer.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mildred C. (Spargo) Inderlin.
Barbara received a bachelor’s degree from Barry College and a master’s degree in social work from Rhode Island College.
Barbara devoted her life to the mental health field and retired as a grant specialist at Community Care Alliance.
She was a member of the third order of the Franciscans. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, photography and spending time with her family.
She leaves her siblings, Meg Inderlin of Greenville, Rory Mancini (John) of Cranston, Joe Inderlin (Maria) of Charlotte, NC, Chris Inderlin (Jean) of Warwick and Jeannie Roy (Jim) of Coventry; and her best friend, Ruth Fagan of Cranston. Barbara loved being an aunt to Kara Inderlin, Kristen Mancini, Tayla Inderlin, Kelsey Mancini and Evan Mancini. She was the sister of the late Fran Inderlin Taft, Steven Inderlin and Paul Inderlin; and was sister-in-law of the late Wendy Inderlin and Mary Maguire.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. VISITATION from 9-10am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Care Alliance, 800 Clinton Street, Woonsocket, RI 02895.
