Barbara A. (Imondi) Medeiros

82, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Phyllis (Cacchiotti) Imondi and Anthony Imondi. Barbara was the mother of Maria Medeiros (Cranston) and Barbara-Jean Mancini (Richie), North Kingstown. She was the proud grandmother of Keith and Kole Mancini.

Barbara was a 1963 graduate of Newport Hospital School of Nursing and a 1996 graduate of Providence College. She enjoyed a long and rewarding career as a registered nurse at Rhode Island Hospital, Miriam Hospital and spent many years as a dialysis nurse. She was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother. She spent countless hours cheering for her favorite football player, Keith and her favorite lacrosse player, Kole from early childhood to college games. She was happy that both sports were played in different seasons.

She was the sister of Anthony Imondi (Lucy) of Ohio, Carolyn DePasquale (Joe) of Johnston, Nancy McGovern (late Andrew) of Cranston, Thomas Imondi (Donna) of Warwick. Barbara was the companion of Luke Capotosto and the wife of the late John Medeiros.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, November 17th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, Johnston. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
