Barbara C. Monaco

of North Providence, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017.  Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of the late Alfred and Amalia “Mollie” (Pallante) Monaco.

Barbara worked in RI and NY as a manager for N.E. Telephone & Telegraph, NYNEX and later Verizon for 35 years before retiring.

She was the dear sister of Diana M.D. Monaco of North Providence and Alfred Monaco, Jr. and his wife Joyce of Cranston; loving aunt of Gina DiGregorio and her husband Pasquale of Cranston; and cherished great-aunt of Sofia DiGregorio.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 9:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony’s Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence at 11 a.m.  Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
