Barbara A. (Loffredo) Venticinque

78, of Cranston passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the wife of fifty-eight years to Thomas W. Venticinque. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Marco and Eleanor (Marrese) Loffredo. Barbara, along with her husband were the owners of the former Venta Soldering Company of Johnston for 30 years. She was also a crossing guard for the City of Providence for thirty years before her retirement in 2013. Barbara was a member of the Seventh Ward Democratic Club.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Thomas S. Venticinque and his fiancée Sharon, of Cranston, Eleanor Figueiredo and her husband Mario of Cranston, with whom she resided, and Maria Madonna and her husband David, of Cranston. Barbara was the cherished grandmother of six and the great-grandmother of seven. She was the sister of Frank Loffredo, Raymond Loffredo, both of South Carolina, Richard Loffredo of Ohio, and Rosemarie Sanford of Cranston, and the late Vincent Loffredo.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Friday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
