Beatrice J. (Gliottone) Medeiros

passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 12, 1938, in Providence, RI, she lived a life marked by strength, resilience, and unwavering faith.

Beatrice dedicated 22 years of her career to the Swarovski Jewelry Company. Following this, she served as a receptionist at NACEPF for 11 years, where she continued to connect with those around her with kindness and grace.

Her deep-rooted Catholic faith was a cornerstone of her life. She attended Mass regularly, was an active member of a rosary group and volunteered at St Vincent dePaul’s food kitchen serving the community. She lived her life with a Christian outlook that embraced the good in every person and circumstance. Beatrice’s spirituality was not only a source of personal strength but a beacon of hope to those who knew her.

After her diagnosis of pancreatic cancer in 2017, Beatrice was proud to participate in PANCAN walks, offering support and encouragement to fellow patients facing similar battles. Her enduring spirit and advocacy stand as a testament to her remarkable fortitude.

Those who knew Beatrice remember her for the joy she took in everyday moments. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family and friends. She would always take time to stop to pet a dog, engage with a baby and even admire a sports car. These simple acts reflected her generous heart and attentive nature.

Beatrice is survived by her daughters, Marianne Carlucci (the late Edward Carlucci) of Cranston, Karen Medeiros (Robert Hawkins) of North Providence, and Kathy DelSanto (Frank) of North Providence and her brother Eugene Gliottone of Warwick. She also leaves her beloved dog, Bella. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, George Medeiros, and her parents, Theresa (Timpani) Gliottone Francetti and Donato Gliottone.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Augustine Church, Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITATION Thursday morning from 9-10am.
