Beatrice 'Baidzar' 'Bea' (Mourachian) Spirito
91, of North Providence, passed away at home on Sunday, January 10, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Spirito. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Ohan and Aghavne (Nergararian) Mourachian and stepdaughter of the late Yeprem Mourachian.
Bea was a secretary for the Providence School Department and worked at Hope High School and later at Mt. Pleasant High School. She was a proud member of the first graduating class of Johnson & Wales in June 1943. She was long standing member of Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church where she was a past member of the choir; and was a member and past treasurer of the Armenian Chorale of RI. Bea traveled extensively and visited Armenia in 1968 and also traveled to Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Turkey, England, Ireland, Monaco, France, Hawaii, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Spain, California and Florida.
Bea was the dear sister of the late Robert Mourachian and his wife Anna Mae; loving aunt of Robert P. Mourachian and his wife Ruth and Melanie A. Beckemeyer and her husband Terry; loving great-aunt of Traay Camara; and devoted companion of Harry Jeranian since 1998.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
