Benedetta (Simmonelli) Colantonio

95, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, November 06, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Domenico Colantonio. Benedetta was born in Italy, a daughter of the late Bernardo and Louisa Simmonelli.
She was survived by her loving children, Guy Colantonio of Smithfield, Susan Ricci of West Warwick, Rita Scambio of West Warwick and Pauline Okolowitcz of Cranston. She was also the cherished grandmother of Peter, Stephen, Rachel, Paul, Nicholas, Jason, Alicia, Alexander, Zachary; great grandmother of Adam, Kyle, Alexa Genevieve and dear sister of the late Gaetano, Salvatore, Eleutorio, Lucia and Concetta.
Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 5-8 pm.
