94 of Cranston, passed away on Monday December 1, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Amelia (Garzone) Marandola. They were married for 67 years. Born in Lawrence, MA he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Domenica (Teoli) Marandola. Benjamin was co-owner with his wife of the former Ideal Rack Company of Providence for 40 years, retiring in 1999.
He was a WW-II Navy veteran.
He was the devoted father of Joanne Pasquazzi and her husband Rick of Narragansett, Marilyn M. Buchanan and her husband John of Cranston and Leanne DeCosta and her fiancAC. Bruce Ahern of Cranston; loving grandfather of Heather DiBiasio, Amanda Gentile, Erica Killian, Tara DeCosta and Rob DeCosta; loving great-grandfather of Andrew, Sofia and Amelia.
He was the dear brother of the late Mary Planka, Teresa Saritelli, Rose Cioffi, Bill, Edward, John and Freddie Marandola.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Saturday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial with military honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
