Benny Cornelio

Benny Cornelio, 80, of Dexter St., Providence, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at RI Hospital in Providence.

He was the founder and owner of Benny’s Painting Company for the past 30 years.

Born in the Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Joaquin and Maria (Veras) Cornelio.  Benny was the devoted father of Dania Cornelio of Cranston, Daniel Cornelio and Jimmy Cornelio, both of Providence and Julio Cornelio of Orlando, FL; cherished grandfather of six; loving great-grandfather of three; and dear brother of Gloria Cornelio and Mary Cornelio both of Providence and Ernestina, Ivlise, Rosa and Manuel Cornelio all of the Dominican Republic.

VISITING HOURS are Friday, September 15th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, to which relatives and friends are invited.  Burial will be private.
