Beth Ellen (Johnson) Lessard

48, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016 in South County Hospital after a valiant fight with ovarian cancer. She leaves her beloved husband Wesley C. "Wess" Lessard and her faithful pet cat " Gracie ". She was born in Providence a daughter of Harold and Katherine ( Downs ) Johnson of South Kingstown. Beth was the Treasurer employed at Tase-Rite Co., Inc. for 23 years. Beside her husband and parents she is survived by her brother Keith A. Johnson and his wife Kerrie of Warwick and her sister Kristin Johnson Hopper and her husband Gary of Coventry. She was the daughter-in-law of Edith ( Dahl ) Lessard of Wakefield and the late Wesley R. Lessard Jr., sister-in-law of Alan Lessard and his wife Alice of Falmouth, MA, Gary Lessard and his wife Pat of Wakefield, Janet Lee and her husband Tom of So. Hamilton, Ma, Alice Tully and Charlie of Tiverton and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 6:30pm in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd., ( RT 1A ) Narragansett. Burial will be private.
