Bruna M. (Chiavaroli) Ascenzi

90, of Mohawk Trail, Cranston, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife to the late Anthony Ascenzi for 62 years. Born in Quincy, MA, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Chiavaroli.
Bruna was the devoted mother of Anthony D. Ascenzi of CA, Denise Arruda of FL and Lori Tocco of Cranston; loving grandmother of Jacqueline Ascenzi and Jay Tocco; and dear sister of Barbara Carnali of Quincy, MA, Paul Chiavaroli of Marshfield, MA and the late Jenny Joyce, Edeal Plant, Bella Tobin, Vera Caramanica, Gloria Robicheau, Catherine Collins, and Louise, Lois, Domenic, Carlo, John and Stephen Chiavaroli. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Edith Ascenzi and Lillian Ascenzi and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippen Orchard Rd., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
