Bruno "Buddy" Tassoni, Jr.

of Johnston, entered eternal life on January 5, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.  Born July 15, 1936, he was the son of the late Bruno and Rose (Sasso) Tassoni.

Buddy was employed at B.A. Ballou for 43 years as Tool Room Mgr., Factory Super & Product Dev. Eng.  He proudly served in the Berlin Crisis in 1962 and was VP of the 102nd ACW Squadron Assn; President of Jewelers Silversmith Mgmt. Assn; & Lector & Extraordinary Minister at Holy Cross Church Providence.

His spirit is carried on by his wife of 58 years, Elena (Rossi); daughters Susan Bucci (husband David) of No. Scituate, Paula Fischer of West Hartford, CT, Lynn Grissom (husband John) of Johnston; grandson Daniel Bucci; granddaughters Elena (Bucci) Donahue (husband Brandon) & Jaclyn Rose Grissom. He was the brother of the late Frank Tassoni. He also leaves his beloved cat Rascal.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave., Providence followed by burial with military honors at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
