Buzz Harold Greenhalgh, III

68, of Cranston, passed away after a sudden illness on Friday, February 27, surrounded by family. He was the beloved husband of Julie-ann (Legacy) Greenhalgh, with whom he shared a happy marriage for the last 35 years. In addition to his wife, Buzz is survived by a son Andrew and his wife Julie of Hope, RI, a daughter Emily and her husband Michael Pascone of Silver Spring, MD, and a granddaughter Natalie. He was the brother of Linda Winman and husband John, James and wife Lucia, Dennis and wife Linda, and Russell and partner Donna. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Harold and Evelyn (Karp) Greenhalgh. He worked as a purchasing analyst at Swarovski in Cranston for the past 9 years. Buzz was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America. He was Scoutmaster of Troop 66 Garden City from 1998-2010. Wood Badge Certified, he received the Silver Beaver Award for distinguished service in 2008.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday March 1, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Matthews Church, corner of Park and Elmwood Avenue's, Cranston. Burial will be private. Donations in Buzz's honor may be made to Boy Scout Troop 66 Garden City, 88 Glen Ridge Rd., Cranston, RI 02920.
