Carl B. Abbruzzese

79, of South Kingstown, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at RI Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Ohman) Abbruzzese. They were married for the past 56 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Carmine and Virginia (Paliotta) Abbruzzese. Carl worked for the State of RI as a supervisor of buildings and grounds for many years until his retirement; he also served in the US Air Force Reserves.

Besides his wife he is survived by his loving daughters,  Jennifer Abbruzzese of South Kingstown, Gayle Mastrostefano and her husband John , of South Kingstown ; his cherished grandchildren, Gianna and Joseph and his great grandchildren, Giovanni and En’Ricco. Carl was also the brother of the late Robert and John Abbruzzese.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Funeral Service at 11 am in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 445 Elmwood Ave., Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday 4-8 pm.
