Carl R. Vitale

of Johnston, RI formally of Cranston, RI, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at home.  Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Carl Vitale and Mary (Williams) Vitale.

Mr. Vitale was a graduate of Cranston High School East, Class of 1961.  He attended the University of Rhode Island.

He was a former employee of Forest Hills Nurseries as a salesman for over twenty-five years.

Mr. Vitale was a former member of the Rhode Island Fish and Game Preservation Society. He enjoyed freshwater fishing and had an interest in antiques.

He leaves one nephew Daniel Sweet of Providence, RI. He was brother of the late Barbara Sweet.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Prayer Service on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
