Carlo V. DelBonis

64, of Cranston, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at the Kent Regency Nursing Home in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Marina (Alonso) DelBonis for 11 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph H. and Rose (DiRaimo) DelBonis.
Carlo was a graduate from the University of Rhode Island. He worked as a tax assessor for the City of Cranston and also worked for the City of Warwick for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the Cranston Lions for over 30 years and a member of the Rhode Island Assessors. He also was the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee for the Cranston Credit Union for many years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his brothers, Joseph DelBonis of North Providence and Richard DelBonis, Sr. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Aldina Alonso of Warwick and a nephew Richard, and two nieces Samantha and Leila.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, R.I. 02886 or to the RISPCA, 186 Amaral St., Riverside, R.I. 02915.
