Carmela P. (Briganti) Fiore

96, of Atria Lincoln Place, Lincoln and formerly of Princess Ave., Cranston, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Memorial Hospital of RI in Pawtucket. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell D. Fiore. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Cosimo and Maria (Giarusso) Briganti.

Carmela was the devoted mother of Russell D. Fiore and his wife Karlene of Lincoln; loving grandmother of Matthew R. Fiore and his wife Leah of Warwick and Melanie R. Giroux and her husband Scott of Cumberland; loving great-grandmother of Patrick S. Giroux, Peyton E. Giroux and Chase X. Fiore; and dear sister of Joseph Briganti of North Smithfield, Cosimo "Ray" Briganti of Middletown and the late Josephine Porreca, Louise Chark, Cosimina Cardi and Mary Haynes.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are MONDAY MORNING from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
