Carmela P. (Barnds) Sivo

75, of Providence, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Sivo. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late George A. and Mary (Musto) Barnds. Carmela was a jewelry worker at the former Ciellini Jewelry Company in Providence. She will be remembered as a loving mother and nana. She is survived by her loving children, Eugene Sivo of Woonsocket, Gail Sivo of Providence, Lisa Marqus of Cumberland, and JoAnn Scanlon of Somerset, MA. Carmela was the cherished nana of seven and the great-grandmother of two. She was the sister of Gloria Pari of Johnston, Albert Barnds of Cranston, Robert Barnds of Spring Hill, FL, and Diana Cendroski of Johnston. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
