Carol J. (Fishlock) Dawson

76, of Narragansett, beloved wife of the late Norman G. Dawson, Jr, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 after a brief illness. Born in East Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Frances (Chernick) Fishlock. Mrs. Dawson was a graduate of Our Lady of Fatima School of Nursing and worked at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital for many years until her retirement.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family, daughter Lori Dawson of Shrewsbury, MA and son David Dawson of Boston, MA; grandchildren Brooke Dadona, Adam Dawson, and Benjamin Kelly; and great grandchildren Logan and Avery Dadona.  She is also survived by beloved siblings Diane Provencal of Coventry, Gary Fishlock of NY, Judy Walter of CT, Arthur Fishlock, Jr of CT, and Rhonda Walker of Warwick.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd., Narragansett , followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 pm at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea, 864 Point Judith Rd., Narragansett. Burial will take place in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 5-9 pm.
