Carolina I. (Iaconi) Moretti

96, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021 peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of the late Dr.Vincent J. Moretti.  Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, Carolina was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Spingla) Iaconi.  She was a Providence school teacher for many years and before retiring she achieved her doctorate degree in education.  She is survived by her loving children, James(Jaime) I. Moretti and his wife Linda of Cranston and Vincent I. ("Pope") Moretti and his wife Cynthia of Jamestown.  Carolina was the cherished grandmother of Mia Moretti, Vincenzo Moretti and Dean Moretti.  She was the sister of the late Salvatore ("Sully") Iaconi, Angelo ("Chester") Iaconi,
and Florence I. Lombardi.  She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews and thought of them as her own children.
Her funeral will be held from NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday, September 8th, at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mark's Church, 9 Garden Court, Cranston at 10 a.m.  VISITING HOURS are on Tuesday, September 7th, from 5-8 p.m.  Burial will take place in St. John's Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester, MA  01603.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA Care New England Hospice, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI  02886.
