Catherine (Vartian) Albanese

77, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Catherine was the wife of the late Richard A. Albanese. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Rose (Aramian) Vartian. Catherine was employed as a medical secretary for many years, before retiring. She is survived by her daughter Roseann Reo and her husband Mark of Cranston. Catherine was also the mother to the late Dr. Laura J. Albanese, and cherished grandmother of Tayla and Richard Reo. She was the sister of Paul and Sesak Vartian, and Ann Bedrosian. Funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9:45 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in North Burial Ground, Providence.
