Catherine (D'Ambra) Camparone

108, died peacefully under the kind care of Hope Hospice and Palliative Care in Providence. She was a resident for six years at the Atria Harborhill in East Greenwich, where she received loving care. Born in Providence, and a lifelong resident of Rhode Island, she was predeceased by her loving husband of sixty years, Peter Camparone, and her nine siblings. She was a daughter of the late Domenico and Sofia (Irace) D’Ambra.

Catherine is survived and greatly missed by her three loving daughters, Barbara Salvadore (Guido), Carole Sammartino (Clark), and Joan D’Agostino; her eleven grandchildren and her twenty great-grandchildren. She was a caring, loving mother and a friend to all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 29 at 10:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston. Burial will be private.
