Catherine (Ivone) Magnarella
95, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Realino "Roy" Magnarella for 50 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Domenic and Consiglia (Cozzolino) Ivone.
Catherine was a lifelong resident of Cranston. She worked as a jewelry sample maker for 38 years at Gem-Craft, Inc. until her retirement.
She is survived by her loving children, Louis Magnarella and his wife Susan of Gainesville, FL, Cecile Sharon Fratantuono and her husband Kenneth of Cranston; 4 cherished grandchildren, Tracey Fratantuono Adamec and her husband Kevin, Brad Fratantuono, Marc Magnarella and his wife Carly, Courtney Magnarella and 2 great grandchildren Cameron Roy Adamec, Sydney Catherine Adamec; dear siblings Josephine Cerce of Providence, Peter Ivone and his wife Rose of Providence, and Rita Lupo of Cranston. She was also the sister of the late Tina Marine, Ernest Ivone, Elsie Marolla, and Jerry Ivone, Sr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Matthew's Church, 1291 Elmwood Ave., Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Sunday from 4 - 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Founders Affiliate, P.O. Box 417005 Boston, MA 02241-7005.
