Catherine P. (Rose) Zito

74, of Johnston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 24, 2026 at the Hope Health Hospice Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Phillip J. Zito. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank Rose Jr. and Mary (McKenzie) Rose.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children: Allen W. Sullivan, Mary C. (Sullivan) Flynn-DeAngelis and her husband Ralph, Eldora “Ellie” M. (Sullivan) Giblin, Roderick “Huggy” A. Sullivan III, and her late son-in-law Steven D. Flynn; cherished grandchildren Allen Sullivan Jr., Kelsey Moscarelli, Catherine P. Horan, Donald “DJ” Giblin Jr., Steven Flynn Jr., Domenic Sullivan, Michael DeAngelis, and the late Isabella Sullivan; cherished great grandchildren Bella, Julian, Luca, Maci, Kinsley, and Trey who lovingly knew her as “Bam” ; dear siblings Donna Cipriano, and Alexander F. Rose. She also leaves her beloved dog Frazier “Boo Boo”.

Catherine worked as a CNA for many years and was a licensed phlebotomist.

Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 29th at 8:45 a.m. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS will be Tuesday, July 28th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
