CECILE A. (CASTILLONA) CHESTER
66, of Johnston, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife for 47 years of John H. Chester, Sr., Ret. Sgt. JPD.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Pari) Castillona.
Besides her husband, Cecile was the devoted mother of Cindy Carney and her husband Kurt, John H. Chester, Jr. and his wife Melissa, Jeffrey Chester and his wife Michelle; loving grandmother of Tyler, Zachary, Madison, Kailey, Landyn and Owen; and dear sister of Betty Volante and the late Joseph Castillona. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Cecile devoted her life to her family and spent all of her time with her grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence.
Visiting hours are Wednesday Morning from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
