Cecile "Ci" (Pingitore) Scichilone

92, of Circuit Dr., Narragansett passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2016 at South County Hospital, Wakefield surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. “ Chick “ Scichilone, they were married for 59 years.

She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Joseph and Rosaria ( Fusaro ) Pingitore and had resided in Cranston for 40 years, prior to the last 27 years in Narragansett.

Ci’s greatest joy in life was cooking and baking and spending quality time with her loving family.

She is survived by her children; Joseph M. Scichilone and his wife Susan of Coventry, Michael Scichilone and his wife Gail of Spencer, MA , Linda Langlais and Debra Scichilone both of Narragansett.

She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and was the sister of Joseph and Raymond Pingitore both of Johnston, Christina Amadio and Eileen St. Angelo both of Cranston and the late Pasquale, Ernest, Dante, Edward and Dorothy Pingitore.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 10am. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS on Friday 4-8pm.
