CECILIA R. (ROMANO) SICARD

92, of Meredith Dr., Cranston, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at RI Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Sicard. Born on Federal Hill in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Lucia (Colagiovanni) Romano. Cecilia was a member of the Meshanticut Garden Club, and spent many memorable summers at Jerusalem Beach with her family. She was the devoted mother of Raymond J. Sicard, Jr. and his wife Merilyn of Warwick, Russell R. Sicard and his wife Nancy of Narragansett and Roxanne E. Sicard of Cranston; loving grandmother of Kimberly R. Sicard, Raymond J. Sicard, III, Meaghean C. McKay and Stephanie E. Rozzero; loving great-grandmother of Raymond J. Sicard, IV; and dear sister of the late Eleanor Rietzel. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Requiem Eucharist in St. David's on the Hill Episcopal Church, 200 Meshanticut Valley Parkway, Cranston on Thursday at 11 a.m. Inurnment will take place at Swan Point Cemetery at a later date. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
