Cecilia C. (Iannotti) Vinci

91, of Providence, passed away on Tuesday February 17, 2015 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore "Sal" Vinci. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late John and Maria (Toto) Iannotti. Cecilia was a secretary for Providence Community Action Program for thirty years before retiring. She was Past President of Providence Chapter of Professional Secretaries Association and was a recipient of the secretary of the year award; she was also an active volunteer at the Federal Hill House in Providence.
She was the devoted mother of Vincent J. Vinci and his wife Lori of Cranston, Anthony S. Vinci and his wife Patricia of North Kingstown; loving grandmother of Vanessa, Felicia, William and Elizabeth Vinci and loving great-grandmother of Jakob Vinci.
Cecilia was the dear sister of the late Daniel, Anthony, Joseph, and Domenic Iannotti, Ralph and Anna Bergandino and Bertha Vitolo.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Ghost Church Providence at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
