Charles E. Curvelo, Jr.

who lived for many years in Riverside, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Agnes (Lolio) Curvelo. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Anna (Mello) Curvelo.

Charles was a Human Resources Benefits Specialist for the former RI Hospital Trust Bank and was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran.  He was an avid golfer, bowler and reader.

He was the devoted father of Diane Currier and her husband Kevin, Kevin Curvelo and his wife Cynthia; loving grandfather of Christopher and his wife Amy, Erin and Jonathan Currier; Sean and Ryan Curvelo.  Dear brother of Claire Curvelo, Fred Curvelo, Helen Correira, Dolores Gonsalves, the late Lillian Reggio and the late Hope Curvelo.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 3rd from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME – SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt.1A), Narragansett, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, Kingston at 11:30 a.m.  Military honors will be performed at the church immediately following the Mass. Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence will be private.
