CHARLES E. MC GOVERN
73, of Johnston, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 at home. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John J. and Annie I. (Vanner) McGovern. Chuck was a title examiner employed at Mortgage Guarantee and Title, Co. He was an avid ballroom and square-dancer.
Mr. McGovern is survived by his two sisters: Gladys F. Costa of Oakland, CA and Joan E. Kerr of Ceres, CA and the late Thomas S., Donald, John and Beverly McGovern. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brigid Church, Johnston at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS are Friday morning 9 -10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charitable organization of your preference.
