Charles E. 'Charlie' Hopkins, III

40, of North Easton, MA and formerly of North Providence, RI, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014. He was the husband of Francine (Buffi) Hopkins. Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of Charles E., Jr. and Beatrice M. (Poleski) Hopkins. Charles graduated from Archbishop Williams High School, Braintree, MA in 1992 and then attended Bridgewater State University. He was a police officer of Easton, MA for 13 years.

He was the cherished father of three children; Alec J. Buffi, Steven Peters, and Sienna Hopkins, all of Easton, MA and formerly of North Providence, RI. Charlie was the brother of Christine McKay of Franklin, MA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service in Cranston Christian Fellowship, 1114 Scituate Avenue, Cranston, RI 02921 on Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park, 1 Rhode Island Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919. VISITING HOURS will be held on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI 02910. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Easton Police Officers Association, 46 Lothrop Street, North Easton, MA 02356.
