Chester J. 'Chet' Kalafarski

a�� 90, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Lottie (Burek) Kalafarski. Born in Dudley, MA he was a son of the late Michael and Agnes (Zielonka) Kalafarski. Chet was a sales representative for Arlington RV in Warwick for over thirty years. He was self-employed in the jewelry industry and was also employed at the former American Tourister Luggage Company in Warren. Chet was a US Navy veteran serving during WW II. He was a member of the Cranston Senior Center and was a frequent visitor of many restaurants in the Cranston area. He is survived by his loving daughter Lois A. Kalafarski and her wife Linda B. Parsons of Vero Beach, FL, and was the father of the late Robert M. Kalafarski. He was the cherished grandfather of Jennifer Rocha, Justin Kalafarski, and the great-grandfather of Alex Rocha, all of Ponte Vedra, FL. Chet was the brother of the late John Kalafarski. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston.
