Chet A. Brousseau

66, of Warwick, formerly of Cranston, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2014, at Miriam Hospital, Providence. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Clyde F. and Alice L. (Rochon) Brousseau. Mr. Brousseau worked for the City of Cranston's Public Works Department for 30 years, 17 years in the Engineering Division and 13 years as the Superintendent of the Highway Maintenance Division, before retiring in 1998. A talented artist and avid golfer, Chet was a past member of Valley Country Club, where he also served on the Board of Directors, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Cranston Municipal Employees Credit Union. Chet was extremely proud to have served many as a mentor and sponsor. He was also honored to have been enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. Chet is survived by his loving daughters Nicole Brousseau Rustici of Cranston and Danielle Brousseau Milam of Madison, MS; his brother Charles C. Brousseau and his wife Jean of West Warwick; his sister Dianne M. Brousseau of Cranston; and his grandchildren Justin A. and Nathalie A. Milam and James T. Rustici. Relative and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting Hours: Thursday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to RI Chapter of Multiple Sclerosis, 205 Hallene Road, Suite 209, Warwick, RI 02886.
