76, of Narragansett, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at South County Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Arthur A. Bergeron, Sr. Born in Great Barrington, MA she was a daughter of the late Raymond Parris and Marion (Agin) Barney.
Christine worked most recently as the manager of Calcut True Value in Pawtucket before retiring. She was also a longtime CCD teacher for Sacred Heart Church in Pawtucket. Christine coached the girls’ Darlington Braves Cheerleading Team to their first ever nationals appearance, something she was very proud of. She was an animal lover and made contributions to the Narragansett animal shelter. Christine also was a die hard New England Patriots fan.
Besides her husband Arthur, she is survived by her loving children, Lt. AJ Bergeron and his wife Kerrin, Tracy Bergeron-Jones and her husband Chris; cherished grandchildren, Sean, Alexys, Summer, Jaye-Leigh, Noah and Nathan; great-grandchildren, Emilia, Elora, Sadie, Luka, Clemintine and two more “on the way”, Aria and Baby Boy. She was the dear sister of Donna DiSirio, Debbie Walls, Raymond Parris, Lori Siravo, Bernard Barney and the late Robert Parris and Gina Kuphal. She is also survived by her beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews and her cousin Diane Harris.
Visiting hours will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory – SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A) Narragansett on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 from 8:30 – 10:30 am. Burial will follow in RI Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
We ask family and friends to wear shades of pink as it was her favorite color.
