Christine 'Stina' (Gionti) Giramma

87, of Cranston, passed away at the Scalabrini Villa Health Care Center on January 10, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Giramma. Born and raised in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Graziella (Palumbo) Gionti. Christine was a loving mother and devoted wife who also worked in the jewelry industry for several years.
She was the mother of four children; Teresa Hutson and her husband Richard of Bonita Springs, FL; the late Joseph Giramma and his wife Carolyn of Narragansett; Robert Giramma and his wife Sue of San Diego, CA; and Richard Giramma and his wife Wendy of Hillsborough, NJ. Christine was the cherished grandmother of seven; Grace, Shawn, Jennifer, Dale, Jason, Jessica, and Alison Giramma. She was the sister of Mary Ruscito, the late Rose Schneider, Julio Gionti, the late Salvatore Gionti, Josephine Parente, Anna Gionti, the late Vivian DiCenso, and Joseph Gionti Sr.
Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston at 11:00 a.m. VISITING HOURS: Thursday MORNING 9:00-10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
